What happens if I have a dental emergency?

Woman holding jaw from pain | Dental Emergency Care Los GatosDental emergencies usually happen at the most inopportune times, and we understand that they can be scary. The first thing to remember is not to panic. We are here for you at Nicole Pagonis, DDS, and we recommend that you just give us a call. We can talk to you about the situation and advise you on the best course of action. We always keep time in our schedule to see dental emergencies.

First Steps in a Dental Emergency

Our first order of business will be to provide palliative care to ensure that you are not in pain, so we will do what we can to alleviate any discomfort. Dr. Pagonis will do a thorough examination and make treatment recommendations. Then we will schedule a follow-up appointment.

If you are bleeding uncontrollably or think you might have broken your jaw, we recommend that you call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
